Landscape

The set, designed by Jacques Lagrange

A replica of the set from a 2009 exibit at the Centquartre in Paris

While trying to work out some landscaping ideas the set of Villa Arpel from the Jacques Tati film, Mon Oncle, came to my attention. The film is a non-materialistic view of the new French modernism and American style consumerism of the 1950's, but the Arpel's garden is inspiring to say the least. I doubt I could keep all that gravel straight, especially as I am not as crazy about cleaning as Madame Arpel appears to be.
